Welcome to Cloud9 Naturopathy. This website, www.Cloud9naturopathy.com.au, is owned and operated by Alexandra (Alexa) Margaret Ellen (AME) Cloud (ABN 55 542 942 575).

Alexa holds a Bachelor of Health Science (Naturopathy) from Endeavour College of Natural Health. She is a member of the Naturopaths and Herbalists Association of Australia (NHAA, member number 156676), a large Australian professional association with uniform registration requirements for complementary medicine and natural therapies practitioners. NHAA-registered practitioners comply with the NHAA Code of Ethics, maintain professional development, and follow quality assurance and public safety guidelines. Alexa also holds a Master of Science in Agriculture (University of Sydney), is registered with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) and lectures at tertiary-level institutions.

Cloud9 Naturopathy provides naturopathic consultations, generalised wellness, nutrition and lifestyle advice and includes an email sign up facility.

Terms & Conditions

You need to be aware of the Terms and Conditions of the Cloud9 Naturopathy website when using it for information as a visitor or client (e.g. to book, pay for, reschedule or cancel appointments) or to purchase any products. To clarify expectations and avoid disappointment, this document outlines the agreements that you are making when you use the services of Cloud9 Naturopathy. The use of “us”, “our” or “we” refers to Cloud9 Naturopathy; “you”, “your” or “yours” refers to the website user.

Confirmation and acceptance of conditions

When you use the services of Cloud9 Naturopathy, you are confirming that you have read and understood the Terms and Conditions outlined within this document.

When you visit this website, use the services or purchase our products, you agree that you are over the age of 18 and are willing to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, kindly do not continue to use any services provided by this website.

These Terms and Conditions will be reviewed regularly to ensure they are in accordance with any changes that may occur. Therefore, this document may be changed or modified from time to time. Clients will be notified via the Practice Better management system when this document is amended. Please check back regularly to ensure you are aware of any changes.

Consultations and services

Booking
Bookings are made through the Practice Better clinical management software accessed through the Cloud9 Naturopathy website. On confirmation of your booking, an Intake Questionnaire is forwarded to you, to be completed and returned to Cloud9 Naturopathy no later than 3 business days (Monday to Friday) before your appointment. If the Intake Questionnaire is not received within the specified time or is incomplete, your appointment might be rescheduled to allow sufficient time to ensure you receive the full benefit of your initial appointment.

 

Payment
Payment is to be made in full when booking an initial or a return appointment. Payment is made via Square, within the Practice Better software or with a separate device, which incurs an additional 1.9% processing fee.

 

Cancellation and refunds
At least 24 hours’ notice is required to obtain a full refund, or to reschedule an appointment. If you cancel or change your appointment less than 24 hours before the scheduled time, 50% of the appointment fee will be billed. Please contact Cloud9 Naturopathy as soon as possible within the 24-hour period before an appointment, if necessary, for additional options.

If you miss an appointment without notice, Cloud9 Naturopathy will attempt to contact you via phone, text message or email at your appointment time. If more than 15 minutes have lapsed, the appointment will be cancelled without refund. Another appointment can be rescheduled.  

Products purchased online via a third party such as herbal medicine and nutritional supplements may not offer refunds after purchase. Please refer to the Returns Policy of the supplier.

Client responsibilities

Be transparent: To obtain appropriate and effective care you need to provide full and accurate details about your state of health, diagnoses, allergies, medications, and any changes to your state of health (e.g. pregnancy or new medication).  

Continue existing medical treatment: Do not cease existing medical treatment or start self-medicating programs without consulting your doctor.  

Do not share personalised prescriptions or advice: Your individualised herbal and nutritional prescription and advice  is for your use only. Do not share your personal prescription or advice with your family or friends because it might not be appropriate for them and potentially might harm them.

Respond to unexpected reactions: If you experience any reactions to products prescribed by Cloud9 Naturopathy, you must notify us as soon as possible. If you are experiencing life-threatening symptoms such as anaphylaxis, call 000 immediately. 

Take full responsibility: You take full responsibility for your implementation of any advice given by Cloud9 Naturopathy. You understand that this advice is limited to providing you with options for your consideration, and that you are solely responsible for any actions that you choose to take. Cloud9 Naturopathy encourages you to consult your own values and vision, do your own research and check with appropriately qualified professionals before making major decisions or significant changes. You agree to indemnify Cloud9 Naturopathy against all consequences arising directly or indirectly from your choices.

Disclaimer for services

Cloud9 Naturopathy website offers general health and wellness advice to help educate and empower you to help manage your own health. General advice given on this website, blogs or resources about health, nutrition, wellness or genetics is for information purposes only. Cloud9 Naturopathy is not responsible for the use of general information, which is broadly applicable but may not be suitable for certain individuals.

General advice is not intended to be a substitute for one-to-one naturopathic consultation for individual advice and support. Always have a personal consultation with a health professional before making changes to diet or lifestyle, especially if you have known allergies, food intolerances, specific medical conditions or diagnoses, or are taking prescribed medication.

Location and jurisdiction

The registered office of Cloud9 Naturopathy is located in Victoria, Australia. Please note that Cloud9 Naturopathy is unable to provide services to Canada and the United States of America.

This agreement is subject to the laws of Victoria, Australia. Should a dispute arise between us, and dispute resolution fails, you agree irrevocably that the courts of Victoria, and the Commonwealth of Australia, have exclusive jurisdiction regardless of where you live in the world.

All services included on this website comply with Australian Consumer Law.

Content accuracy and timeliness

Cloud9 Naturopathy takes reasonable care to make sure information is accurate and up to date but makes no guarantee in this regard or accepts legal liability for any inaccuracy or errors. Content from the Cloud9 Naturopathy website and associated material can be altered or deleted at any time without notice. We reserve the right to delete any comments that are offensive or deemed unacceptable.

 

Limitation of liability

Please let Cloud9 Naturopathy know within 7 days if there is any problem with the purchase of any of our services and we will do our best to address the issue. However, liability is restricted to: (i) replacement of the goods or services, or (ii) payment to have the goods or services replaced if Cloud9 Naturopathy is unable to complete (i) claims made within reasonable time.

While Cloud9 Naturopathy makes all reasonable efforts to ensure that this website and our services meet the highest standards of best practice, if something goes wrong that it is not a direct result of our negligence, misrepresentation or deliberate fault you agree that, to the fullest extent permitted by law, Cloud9 Naturopathy shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising out of, or related to, our website, any products or services purchased through it, or any material posted on it, irrespective of whether such damages were foreseen and regardless of the nature of the claim.

Although operation and safety of the Cloud9 Naturopathy website is a high priority, Cloud9 Naturopathy will not be liable for the website being temporarily unavailable due to technical issues beyond its control. Cloud9 Naturopathy is also not responsible or liable for damages that might be caused by viruses, malware or other losses associated with use of the website or downloading material from it. Any external links are provided for your convenience and you visit these external websites at your own risk. Cloud9 Naturopathy does not take responsibility for content of external websites.

If for any reason this limitation of liability is unenforceable, you agree that the total cumulative liability of Cloud9 Naturopathy for all causes of action of any kind shall not exceed the amount that you have paid to us for our services.

Cloud9 Naturopathy owns all original content on the Cloud9 Naturopathy website or has sought and obtained permission to use non-original material subject to copyright. Further use of non-original material such as images may be subject to copyright and permission to use these must be obtained from the respective copyright owner. Website content is protected by the relevant Australian and international copyright laws.

Personal, non-commercial use

The content of the material on the Cloud9 Naturopathy website is for your personal, non-commercial use only. Please seek written permission from Cloud9 Naturopathy to copy, shareor replicate material in any form.
